North Dakota Traffic Stop: Suspects Likely Fled Area | KFGO

GRAFTON, N.D. – The Walsh County Sheriff’s office says the men that fled a traffic stop are no longer believed to be in the area.

The traffic stop on August 21 was initiated by the North Dakota Highway Patrol and U.S. Border Patrol, and the sheriff’s office assisted with searching for the four men. The driver of the vehicle was detained at the scene.

A shelter-in-place order was issued near Park River, and lifted later that day.

“The subjects from the search, conducted by agencies last Thursday are still at large, but are not believed to be in the area,” Sheriff Ron Jurgens said.
