The Alzheimer Sud Aisne association, in collaboration with EHPAD Domusvi Château de la Source in Nogent-l’Artaud and the doors of Champagne in Chézy-sur-Marne, is organizing its annual health hike, “Solidarité Alzheimer.” This event aims to foster community, promote physical activity, and raise awareness about Alzheimer’s disease.
Event Details: route and Purpose
Scheduled for May 24th, the hike commences at Château de la source in Nogent-l’Artaud. Participants will embark on a scenic 10-kilometer journey, including a refreshing coffee break at the doors of Champagne in Chézy-sur-Marne, before returning to the starting point.Transportation back to château de la Source will be provided.
Combating Isolation and Promoting Health
This initiative is designed to support families affected by Alzheimer’s disease by encouraging them to break free from isolation and connect with others facing similar challenges. The hike also emphasizes the importance of physical fitness, recognizing the demanding nature of caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s.
