A video has appeared of the detention of the first deputy head of the Nizhny Novgorod administration, Sergei Egorov. He is suspected of receiving a large bribe. The footage was published by the Investigative Directorate of Russia for the region.
Let us remind you that the official was detained on the evening of December 2. According to investigators, in February-August Sergei Egorov received a bribe for facilitating the organization of illegal commercial activities in Nizhny Novgorod. A criminal case has been initiated against him under Part 3 of Art. 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
Soon the city administration employee will be charged and a preventive measure will be chosen.
Representatives of the mayor’s office said they were assisting law enforcement agencies.
