Nîmes Mourns Loss of Beloved Man

« A father, a brother, a friend, a psychologist. » It is a little after 4 p.m., this Monday, December 29, 2025, when several people gather, a paper in hand, on the square in front of the Carré d’art, in Nîmes (Gard). A photo of Wrong Bouabdallahaccompanies these inscriptions.

This man was found dead this Monday, buried in the garden of my family home in Nîmes, after his son confessed to his murder. His disappearance had been reported for more than a week. His loved ones and acquaintances gathered to pay tribute to a man “who only thought of others.” »

A painful loss

Edithe nephew of the tragically deceased psychologist, gives these papers to those who came to bring their support. “It’s a cry from the heart that you see before you,” says the young man.

The portrait of an “exceptional human”

A psychologist and a committed figure

He worked at 3 Rue Saint-Yon, behind the Daudet high school. Jessicaa patient who has been followed regularly for five years, declares with great sadness: “He allowed me to live with inner peace. Always smiling, he was a exceptional human being. It’s a great loss, I was lucky to know her. »

Open-mindedness is on many lips. Nicole Zianipresident of the France Palestine Solidarité association in Nîmes, agrees. She had been in contact with him since at least 2005, for the support of this cause commune .

“May Allah grant him paradise”

According to her, he had the concern to bring people together, to establish connections between people.“He accompanied young people to prevent them from becoming radicalized,” highlights this relative of the deceased. She adds: “He gave off a feeling of serenity. I would say it was constructive, dignified, discreet and efficient. »

A little before 4:45 p.m., “Merci Wrong» rang out in front of the Carré d’Art, before a minute of silence, requested by Salah Bouabdallah’s brother. In the crowd, a murmur: “May Allah grant him paradise.” »
