NICOLAS COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) – The Nicholas County Coroner and Kentucky State Police are investigating the deaths of two people on Abner’s Mill Road in the Pleasant Valley area.
The Nicholas County Sheriff’s Office told WKYT there was a shooting on Abner’s Mill Road on Saturday. Deputies would not say if anyone was hurt, but they did say the coroner was called to the scene.
In a release, Nicholas County Coroner Emily Gaunce said two people were pronounced dead on Abner’s Mill Road at 12:15 p.m.
Gaunce did not share their names, ages, or causes of death.
Both of their bodies have been transported to the State Medical Examiner’s Office in Frankfort for autopsies.
It’s unclear if anyone is facing charges. Police have not released any information about a possible suspect.
