Nguyen Hai Dang has won the right to advance to the men’s singles quarterfinals of the 2025 Vietnam Open Badminton Tournament.
In the men’s singles held on the same day, tennis player Nguyen Hai Dhan (63rd place in the world) won the match against Mitun Manjunas (111th place in the world) with a 2-1 score (12/21, 21/17, 21/18) and advanced to the quarterfinals. The cheers of the fans who packed the venue were a great encouragement for Nguyen Hai Dhan, who played with all his might and with strong will in every hit, making an emotional comeback against India.
