ZDF show attracts thousands despite drizzly weather

Numerous spectators flock to the ZDF New Year’s Eve show in the port of Hamburg, regardless of adverse weather conditions. The organizers are announcing surprises.

The ZDF New Year’s Eve show started on Wednesday evening in the port of Hamburg. Andrea Kiewel and Johannes B. Kerner moderate the event.

According to the organizers, thousands of people gathered in the port area. This despite drizzle and temperatures around 4 degrees Celsius. Johannes B. Kerner welcomed the audience: “We’re creating four and a half hours of party atmosphere live from the port of Hamburg. The whole of Hamburg is celebrating. It’s great that you all came out in this wild weather and are partying with us. And Hamburg greets all of Germany from here.”

Live connections to the Reeperbahn and the Landungsbrücken are planned during the show. There should also be a broadcast from Miniatur Wunderland, a model railway system.

Co-host Oli.P wanted to welcome friends of drag queen Olivia Jones, among others, to the Reeperbahn. The viewers on site and on the screens can expect a varied program.
