With the rain falling, the most important match of the 2025 season in PGE Ekstralidze. Weather forecasts for Sunday in Lublin were not beneficial and they also turned out to be so, although ultimately the aura did not spoil the evening with Speedway at the highest level. On the track, however, there had to be a tarpaulin that protected the surface from water as much as she could. The competition started planned and the oval fortunately abolished the capricious aura at first, and you have to remember that the air temperature was not high.
The high temperature accompanied the rank and the importance of the meeting on Bystrzyca. Pres Development Group after a great performance a week ago came to a rematch full of hope for a long -awaited success. Eighteen reserves are rare in the play-off final. Therefore, after what the Torunians presented on Motoarena, not getting the first championship title since 2008, would hurt mercilessly.

Orlen Oil Motor is a powerful force on their own terrain, as every team knows that in recent seasons visited Zygmuntowskie Aleje. Lots of high victories, their long series (885 days from the last defeat). In addition, the poor results of “Angels” on the local facility. Hence, despite the great advantage after the first fifteen races, considerable emotions were expected in the second final.
And we had these from the very beginning. In the inaugural prosecution, Jack Holder caused his and Patryk Dudek to fall, after which he was excluded. Dominik Kubera probably won in a replay, but one good chance to make up for the losses escaped. Planning, though after a hard fight, Lubliners brought a full pool in the youth skirmish, after which Antoni Kawczyński had to feel a huge hunger. After all, Bartosz Bańbor was ahead of him on the last arch.
Pres the development group reduced the loss after a great spectacle in the third gear, in which, when Bartosz Zmarzlik passed Robert Lambert at the end of the third lap, it seemed that he was “sweeping”. The captain of the guests in an amazing way, however, at the very finish he “scored” the best speedway rider in the world and with the point of Emil Sajfutdinov assured the visitors 4: 2.
The duo Wiktor Przyjemski – Fredrik Lindgren closed the premiere series with a double triumph, thanks to which the defenders of the Crown had a third -third of the losses from the Copernicus stronghold. This meant that Piotr Baron did not wait in the fifth race of withdrew Jan Kvech. Sajfutdinow took off, who with Mikkel Michelsen held Holder behind him, but the attack of the despair of the host rider on the last straight caused him to divide the opponents and thus the advantage of the guests in the two -legged two.
So the “yellow-blue-white” hope had to be the export couple of Dudek-Lambert in the sixth race. Meanwhile, after the start, it was 4: 2 for Lublin, because he led … Bańbor. The individual Polish and European champion had to be careful of the individual world champion, while at the end of the third circle he had such a speed that he traveled a junior and saved a priceless draw for Toruń. And in a moment such a second one snapped from his throat Sajfutdinov after a phenomenal pursuit of Lindgren. The Russian with Polish citizenship overtook the Swede on the last straight!
We crossed the halfway point of these extremely interesting and energy professions, and the Lubliners had less than half of the losses from Toruń (28:20). It could, however, build that in fact everyone could be more or less counted on. There were no clearly weak links, and the “three” in the eighth race somehow returned to the meeting a bit to the meeting after he won the start and access with the tactical Dudek.
The fact that the Pres leader does not lose trips from under the tape showed the ninth race. Dudek drove forward, but at the entrance to the second arch, Kuber made a sharp maneuver, cutting a senior countryman. As in the first race of the evening, here the judge had no doubt and rightly excluded from the replay of the representative of “Koziołków”. And in it lonely Lindgren, taken exemplary immediately on the first arch by Dudek, only took a duo of rivals in the field who took a big step towards gold.
The location of the country champion from 2022-2024 was hard, but it was not hopeless yet. Holder, who before this meeting had a home running average of 2.629, finally went to the measure of expectations, defeating the Sajfutdinov final in the tenth racing of the rematch. At the same time, Mateusz Cierniak reached the finish line extremely solid from the beginning and it was 34:26. So five gears before the end had ten “stitches” to make up.
This condition did not change after the race number eleven. Cierniak escaped three points, but saying goodbye after this season with the Lublin club Kubera was unable to pass by either Michelsen or Dudek belaying a Danish friend. However, in the twelfth Bańbor for the second time in the last meters, and here basically tamed Kawczyński. Therefore, from the extremely important from the perspective of Torunians 3: 3 it got 4: 2 for Lublinians and the latter for three races before the end were in the final eight points in the minus.
Before the last break, Motor approached six, taking advantage of that Zmarzlik jumped on his optimal ceiling, and Michelsen, who brought zero, was constantly free. Emotions reached Zenith because Pres was close and far longed -for Polish team championship.
Maciej Kuciapa and Jacek Ziółkowski had a few options for how to fill nominated runs. In the fourteenth, they put on the individual winning of Cierniak with Holder. However, Michelsen and Lambert, tiring mercilessly, noted a much better start. Danish, former captain of Motor, rushed to win the championship, plunging the former employer. The fact that the British was ahead of the British on the route did not matter.
Clawing in yellow T -shirts and scarves, the host fans died down, while the sector from Toruń, as well as thousands of fans of the Toruń team in front of the TVs, could finally jump up. After seventeen long years, gold have “angels”! The fifth time in history (earlier in 1986, 1990, 2001, 2008) they reached for the most valuable speedway trophy in Poland!
