Volleyball Standout Malorie Boesiger Chooses Nebraska

malorie Boesiger, a 5-foot-10 setter, has announced her commitment to the University of Nebraska volleyball program as the first Class of 2027 commit. the announcement was made on Monday, June 16. She will be following in the footsteps of her older sister, maisie Boesiger, a senior Husker defensive specialist.
Malorie Boesiger is ranked as the No. 14 overall prospect in the Class of 2027 by PrepVolleyball.com and No. 35 by PrepDig.
In an Instagram post, Boesiger stated, “I’m extremely excited to announce my commitment to the University of nebraska to further my academic and volleyball career!!! First, I want to thank God for blessing me with the ability to play the sport I love and glorify Him. I also want to thank my family for all the support and love they’ve given me. Thank you to my coaches and teammates who have pushed me to get better. I want to give a B1G thank you to Coach Dani, Coach Jaylen, Coach Kelly, and Coach Brennan for the astonishing prospect to live out my dream. I’m staying home!!! GO BIG RED!”
College coaches were officially allowed to begin recruiting and offering spots to the Class of 2027 starting on June 15.Boesiger quickly made her commitment public the vrey next day.

boesiger is currently a rising junior at Norris High school, which is located approximately 20 miles outside of Lincoln. Malorie and Maisie both played as setters for the Titans under the guidance of their mother, head coach Christina Boesiger.
The Titans secured the NSAA Class B State Title in 2024, defeating the long-standing champions, Omaha Skutt. Malorie was sadly sidelined during her sophomore season due to a knee injury but has as fully recovered and is ready for her junior year.

In 2023, Norris finished as the Class B state Runners-up. During her freshman year, Boesiger achieved an average of 11.4 assists per set, totaling 1,093 assists, according to MaxPreps.com.She also recorded 76 aces in 96 sets and averaged 2.3 digs per set.
In May, Boesiger participated in training with USA Volleyball at the National Training and Growth Program in Colorado Springs, Colo.
