Prioritizing Women’s Well-being: The (H) Open Week Initiative

In a nationwide effort to promote women’s health, the ONDA ETS Foundation, a leading organization dedicated to women’s health issues, is spearheading the (H) Open Week. This initiative,running from April 22nd to April 30th,2025,coincides with National Women’s Health Day on April 22nd. The goal is to raise awareness about crucial aspects of female health,including prevention,early diagnosis,and effective management of prevalent conditions.

Access to free Healthcare: A Nationwide Network of Support

The (H) Open Week initiative involves a network of hospitals distinguished with the “pink sticker,” a recognition awarded by ONDA to healthcare facilities demonstrating a commitment to gender-specific medicine. These hospitals will provide a range of free services specifically designed for women. These services include consultations,diagnostic tests,informational sessions,and distribution of educational materials.

This initiative is particularly timely, considering recent data indicating that women are still less likely than men to seek preventative care. Such as, a 2024 study published in the European Journal of Public Health found that women were 15% less likely to undergo routine cardiovascular screenings compared to their male counterparts.
