Opening its gates on Wednesday, April 16th, with free admission for the inaugural day, the fair promises a vibrant mix of attractions, animal encounters, and culinary delights through Sunday, April 20th.

Weather or Not: The “Curse” Looms

A local legend persists: the “curse” of the National Orange Show, where a sudden downpour disrupts the festivities. While the National Meteorological Service predicts only a 10% chance of rain for opening day, with potential showers on Friday and a high of 16°C, the historical pattern of inclement weather during the fair’s run since 1911 adds an element of suspense. Whether the skies cooperate or not, organizers are prepared to ensure a memorable experience for all attendees.

Animal Encounters and Thrilling Rides

This year’s National Orange Show boasts an remarkable array of attractions, including captivating animal shows like Jump! The Best Canine Show. Fairgoers can also immerse themselves in the underwater world with opportunities to meet manta rays and even living sharks – all included with the price of admission.
