The Korea National Examination Institute for Health and Medical Personnel (President Bae Hyeon-joo, hereinafter referred to as ‘Kuksiwon’) announced on December 16 the successful candidates for the 26th National Examination for Prosthetics and Assistive Device Technicians (written) held on November 29, 2025, and announced the successful candidates for the 53rd Dental Technician and 31st Level 2 Emergency Medical Technician national exams on December 17.
In the 53rd National Dental Technician Examination, 687 out of 831 applicants passed, resulting in a passing rate of 82.7%.
Seung-Woo Han of Gwangju Public Health University, who earned 294 points out of 305 (96.4 points converted to 100 points), passed the dental technician national exam at the top of the class.
In the 31st Level 2 Emergency Medical Technician National Examination, 664 out of 1,120 test takers passed, resulting in a passing rate of 59.3%.
Kim In-su of Incheon Fire and Safety School, who earned 172.5 points out of 200 (86.3 points converted to 100 points), passed the national examination for level 2 emergency medical technicians at the top of the class.
In the 26th National Examination for Prosthetics and Assistive Device Technicians (written), 70 out of 105 applicants passed, resulting in a passing rate of 66.7%. Those who pass this written exam must pass the practical exam to be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026 to become the final successful candidate for the national exam for prosthetics and assistive device technicians. The location of the practical test will be announced on the website on Wednesday, January 21, 2026. The final results of the national prosthesis and assistive device technician test will be announced on Tuesday, March 3, 2026.
