The system is designed for ease of use. Passengers within the airport can simply scan a QR code located on various terminal fixtures, including information screens, tables, and seating areas. Scanning the code redirects users to the airport’s flight information panel, where they can select the specific flight for which they wish to receive updates. For travelers who have not yet arrived at the terminal, registration is also available through the Christmas Airport website. Updates are sent from the WhatsApp number +55 84 9666-0118.
Upon registration, users are prompted to enter their name and phone number. Once registered, they will receive timely notifications regarding flight status changes, including boarding announcements, gate information, and last calls. This proactive approach ensures passengers are always informed, minimizing the need to constantly monitor information screens.
