The NASCAR playoffs continue in the Cup Series and Xfinity Series at Las Vegas on Oct. 11 and 12.
The Xfinity Series begins the Round of 8 with the Focused Health 302 on Oct. 11. Austin Hill and Taylor Gray were the notable drivers eliminated from the playoffs after the Charlotte Roval race, with Hill’s playoff points penalty looming large stemming from a suspension after an incident in Indianapolis.
Similarly, the Cup Series opens the Round of 8 with the South Point 400 on Oct. 12. The final eight consists of three Hendrick drivers, three Joe Gibbs Racing drivers and two Penske drivers.
Josh Berry claimed the victory in the spring Vegas race, his first career Cup win.
