Juliette Bellicha, a young 22-year-old entrepreneur, recently opened her shop at the corner of rue de la Croix des Fossés and rue des Landes de la Plée, taking the place of veterinarians who moved to the old multi-reception building in Basse-Goulaine.
Passionate about engraving, La Goulainaise wanted to offer a showcase for her art, beyond online sales.
I wanted my work to be visible, but my creations alone could not fill a room. This is why I decided to create this store by highlighting the work of around thirty local artists.
A variety of products
In this boutique, Juliette Bellicha offers a variety of products ranging from clothes to accessoriesincluding stationery, decoration, candles, cosmetics, prints and even books.
Everything I present is 100% French and local.
Juliette Bellicha works with materials such as wood, bamboo, cork and leather, while collaborating with artists who guarantee the quality and authenticity of their creations.
To make yourself known, the creator also decided to become a parcel relay for Mondial Relay, an initiative which allows it to reach a wider audience thanks to the recipients of the parcels.
Well they are initial opening was scheduled for December 13she had to anticipate the inauguration.
“Mondial Relay does not create new delivery points in December, so if I wanted to be part of it, I had no choice. So I opened my doors during the second half of November, with an offer that was still incomplete but already promising,” she explains.
Three month contracts
Juliette Bellicha also participated in the town’s Christmas market, held on December 6 and 7, where she achieved excellent sales, including the sale of three reworked pieces of furniture which also serve as displays for other products.
“The artists must provide me with replacements for the furniture sold before they can deliver their new creations,” she adds.
The artists who exhibit their works in the store benefit from three-month contracts, allowing the merchant to adapt its offer according to sales and growing demand.
