Nadiem AGO Investigation: Truth to Be Revealed

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Former Minister of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Mendikbudristek) Nadiem Anwar Makarim has completed his examination by the Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) at the Attorney General’s Office, on Tuesday (14/10/2025) evening.

According to Kompas.com monitoring at the location, Nadiem left the AGO Round Building at around 22.02 WIB.

He was seen wearing a pink prosecutor’s detention vest with his hands handcuffed and being escorted by a number of officers to the detention car.

Before getting into the car, Nadiem admitted that the examination process as a suspect in the alleged corruption case in the procurement of Chromebook laptops was going smoothly.

“Thank God, thank God the inspection process went smoothly today,” said Nadiem.

The former CEO of Gojek stated that he believes that the truth about the case that ensnared him will soon be revealed.

“I am sure that in the near future the truth will be revealed. I thank you, ask for your support and ask for prayers,” he said.

Previously, Nadiem stated that he was ready to undergo the entire legal process after the South Jakarta District Court (PN) judge rejected his pretrial application against the Attorney General’s Office.

“Please pray for everyone, I am ready to undergo the legal process,” said Nadiem, on Tuesday afternoon when he was about to undergo an examination.

He also expressed his thanks to all parties who provided moral support during the legal process, including teachers and motorcycle taxi drivers online (ojol).
