As Mayor Mario Hecker confirmed in response to a WB request, the council approved the required 215,000 euros. On the one hand, there was approval for the loan of 165,000 euros with 17 yes votes from the SPD, the Greens and the mayor, with 14 votes against from the CDU and UKB (2 council members – one CDU and one independent council member were missing). On the other hand, the emergency decision that had already been made regarding a loan of 50,000 euros was subsequently approved with 17 yes votes, 13 no votes (CDU and UKB) and one abstention (CDU).
