Weißenburg — “Music makes life colorful” — This is exactly the motto that characterizes the current year in the municipal Montessori children’s home
Schnürleinsmühle. The children experience music not just as a sound, but as a shared activity: they sing, dance, try out instruments and discover how diverse music can enrich everyday life.
A special experience was the encounter with one of the largest instruments: the organ. In cooperation with Dr. Reichel, crèche and kindergarten children made their way to the Holy Cross Church together with their parents and the educational team. There they were able to marvel at the instrument up close and even try it out for themselves. Between the whistles, pedals and keys, people listened, sang, marveled, danced and laughed. The church filled with joyful people
Children’s voices and cheerful organ sounds. Finally, everyone present was invited to end the afternoon with a relaxed dance. This afternoon impressively demonstrated how music connects and how valuable such experiences are for children and families. A big thank you goes to Dr. Reichel, who made this special musical excursion possible with her commitment and enthusiasm.
