Performance and cleaning results

The suction power is impressive – 22,000 Pascal, combined with a contact pressure of 20 Newtons. That sounds technical, but it makes a noticeable difference in everyday life: the MOVA pulls dirt, Staub and even dried leftover sauce with a naturalness that is reminiscent of professional equipment. Especially in Kitchen and hallway, it leaves the floors not only clean, but almost polished. The AI-powered “EdgeCoverage Technology“ cleans edges almost completely, only in extremely narrow corners one or two millimeters remain untouched, which is hardly noticeable in everyday life.
Ergonomics and handling

The “M50 Ultra” shows one of its greatest strengths when it comes to handling. The Flex-Master™ Pro-Griff can be angled, adjusted in height and guided so precisely that even hard-to-reach areas – such as under the sofa or between chair legs – can be easily reached. The movement seems almost weightless. Thanks to the self-propulsion, the device glides with minimal resistance, which noticeably relieves strain on the back and wrists. However, the weight of 5.7 kilograms is noticeable when carrying it. A point to consider before purchasing.
Hygiene and self-care
A real unique selling point is the consistently well thought-out hygiene. After cleaning, the MOVA can start its operation if desired Self-cleaning: 100 degrees Celsius hot water rinses the brush, then it is dried with 90 degrees hot air – thoroughly, quickly and odor-free. Even after several uses, the roller cover remained clean, without any musty residue. An integrated one Odor neutralizer in the dirty water tank prevents unpleasant smells, even if you put off emptying it for a day. This is a clear advantage for allergy sufferers or pet households. No less convincing: the Zero Hair Tangle Brushwhich picks up hair immediately without wrapping it around the axis.
Suitability for everyday use and battery performance

The running time in Smart mode is around 40 minutes – enough for medium-sized apartments, a little less in maximum mode. The large tanks (800 ml fresh water, 700 ml dirty water) reduce interruptions, and the system doses cleaning agents automatically and economically. In terms of noise, the “M50 Ultra” remains pleasantly discreet at around 65 dB; you can have a conversation without raising your voice.
Criticisms: At a high level
The “MOVA M50 Ultra” isn’t perfect either. One LED front lighting missing, which would be useful in dark areas of the room. The app connection works stably, but offers less detailed control than the premium competition. And anyone who wants to clean carpets will be disappointed – the “M50 Ultra” is simply not built for that. The weight remains, which is noticeable during transport but is hardly a problem when in use.
Our verdict

The “MOVA M50 Ultra” is not a lifestyle gadget, but a serious work tool: It is precise, powerful and hygienic. Its combination of hot water-based self-cleaning, flexible ergonomics and high suction power makes it stand out from the crowd. It will be particularly enjoyable for design-conscious households who value efficiency and cleanliness but don’t want any gadgets. Small weaknesses such as the weight or the missing LED do little to change this.
