Dr. Hossam Muwafi, a professor of critical cases at the Faculty of Medicine, Qasr Al -Aini, warned against mouth ulcers, stressing the need to go to the doctor, if she is accompanied by some symptoms.

When is oral ulcers dangerous?
Muwafi said during his program “My Lord Zidni Knowledge”, broadcast on Sada Al -Balad channel, that the mouth ulcers may be a warning sign of an immune disease.

Professor of critical cases added that oral ulcers become evidence of an immune disease, if the person with it is suffering at the same time:
-The speed of the heartbeat.

He explained that the immune disease that he means is “Bahgat’s disease”, noting that it also causes ulcers on the genitals.
Muwafi revealed that the danger of Bahjat’s disease lies in the fact that it leads to the formation of a blood clot in the lower vicious vein.
Muwafi concluded his speech by indicating the importance of conducting some tests, to exclude diseases that cause the same symptoms, such as thyroid analysis and measuring blood sugar.
