José Mourinho addressed the situation of Sidny Lopes Cabral and the state of the transfer market in the press conference previewing the game against Estoril, making it clear that the most recent red reinforcement will now be an option.

«He will be on the bench. He is not in a position to play at first because he has not trained with the team for some time. But it’s an option, you can play in several positions. He’s happy, he’s a good boy and I think he’ll end up playing,” said Mourinho.

Asked about the absence of a winger in the squad and whether he expected to already have this reinforcement available, the coach showed confidence in the work of the structure: «With tranquility and calm I wait for something to happen. The structure is working and Simão and Mário Branco are working and I think a player with these characteristics will arrive. But it hasn’t arrived yet.”

Mourinho refused to enter into speculation about specific names associated with the club, such as Wesley, André Luiz or Rafa Silva: «I’m not going to comment on these rumors because I would be talking about players who are not ours. I leave this work to agents, clubs who want to be sellers and commentators, who like to talk about the market. The only thing I can say about these names is that I know them. Because now a player’s name has come out, Balakov or Batahov, and I don’t even know him.”
