The Minister of Justice, Abdellatif Ouahbi, held talks on Monday in Hanoi with his Vietnamese counterpart, Nguyen Hai Ninh, focused on strengthening judicial cooperation.
According to a press release from the Ministry of Justice, this meeting made it possible to examine ways to strengthen judicial cooperation, as well as to continue digitalization and modernize judicial administration.
The meeting also constituted an opportunity to discuss the prospects for economic and commercial collaboration, the exchange of good practices, as well as the development and professionalization of human resources, in order to support the modernization of the judicial systems in Morocco and Vietnam, the press release added.

The two parties took this opportunity to reaffirm their desire to consolidate the ties of friendship and bilateral cooperation and to intensify the exchange of visits and expertise between justice officials, thus contributing to the strengthening of relations between the two friendly countries.
It should be recalled that Morocco and Vietnam signed, Saturday in Hanoi, two agreements in the criminal field and the extradition of criminals, on the sidelines of the signing ceremony of the United Nations Convention on Combating Cybercrime.
