

The 9ᵉ Annual meeting of the National Federation of Agents and Insurance Brokers in Morocco (Fnacam) was held under the sign of change and innovation. Bringing together regulators, federations, agents and brokers, the event made it possible to tackle two major challenges: compulsory insurance and the impact of artificial intelligence on the profession.
According to the president of Fnacam, “The insurance sector is changing, carried by regulatory, societal and technological developments”. The implementation of new compulsory insurance – in particular compulsory health insurance (AMO) -, as well as the future outing of Book IV, are all structuring projects for the profession.
Artificial intelligence, which is now essential, stands out as a lever for modernization. “You must not undergo it, but knowing how to use it wisely”, He said, calling for intermediaries to appropriate these tools to improve their efficiency and quality of service.
For his part, Bachir Bado, delegate vice-president of the Moroccan Insurance Federation (FMA), insisted on the accelerated dematerialization of the sector, citing in particular automotive insurance transformationnow largely managed in a digital way – from the amicable observation to the online subscription.
