by Archynetys News Desk

A program presented by Gauthier Le Bret, with the boss of the identity media as main columnist Borders, Erik Tegnér, will take over the 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. slot on CNews after the departures of Jean-Marc Morandini and Sonia Mabrouk, the channel communicated to Agence France-Presse (AFP), Thursday February 19, confirming information from Parisian. Entitled “100% Frontières”, this program will be broadcast from Monday to Thursday. According to CNews, she will offer “investigations, field reporting and exclusive revelations”.

If Erik Tegnér will be the central columnist, other personalities will come alternately, including Jules Torres, from Sunday newspaper a you JDNews. Like CNews, these two titles are in the hands of conservative billionaire Vincent Bolloré.

Very present on social networks, Borders is available in paper, digital and video versions. He qualifies as “battle media” and claims the niche of investigation and field reporting, supporting shocking images. It is “a right-wing media, committed to subjects of sovereignty, freedom, and which has made immigration its core investigation”declared Mr. Tegnér to AFP in 2025, estimating that Borders had “vocation to speak to all rights”.

Morandini kept on the air, before his withdrawal

THURSDAY, Borders released a special issue entitled “The black sheep of LFI”. The radical left movement founded by Jean-Luc Mélenchon is under pressure after the arrest of three relatives of one of its deputies, Raphaël Arnault, in the investigation into the death of nationalist activist Quentin Deranque.

Sonia Mabrouk resigned from CNews at the beginning of February, disagreeing with the retention on the air of Jean-Marc Morandini, convicted of corruption of minors and sexual harassment. The latter also finally withdrew from the air. CNews therefore had to replace their programs “Morandini Live” (10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.) and “Midi News” (12 p.m. to 2 p.m.). Currently, the temporary work from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. was provided by Thomas Bonnet.

With these new adjustments to the schedule, “L’heure des pros” by Pascal Praud will continue to be broadcast until 11 a.m., as has been the case since the departure of Mr. Morandini. “Midi News” will now be scheduled from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., still presented by Pierre de Vilno, who replaced Sonia Mabrouk at short notice.
