Asked by AFP, the co-founder of Illogic Studios, Lucas Navarro, did not “expect such success” with his animated wolf for Intermarché. “All designs are made and painted by humans”in a “traditional way”, which “allows you to create real emotion”he confirmed. “As an animation studio, obviously we are interested in AI”, but “as a tool at the service of artists”, insisted the man who co-founded Illogic Studios in 2018 in the wake of the short film “Garden Party”, nominated for the Oscars. Good news for fans, the studio is developing a feature film project “in style” of “Unloved”, in co-production with the French company Mandarin & Compagnie, according to Lucas Navarro.
