An Elsberry man died in a car crash in Montgomery County on Friday.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) reported the crash happened at 10:45 a.m. on Route E, at Route DD.
The two vehicles involved were a 2015 Chevrolet 1500 and a 1998 Western Star Conventional semi-truck.
According to the crash report, the driver of the Chevrolet, a 76-year-old Elsberry man, pulled into the path of the semi-truck.
The semi-truck driver, a 77-year-old Silex man, struck the driver’s side of the Chevrolet.
The Elsberry driver was pronounced dead on the scene.
The Silex driver sustained minor injuries.
MSHP noted both drivers were wearing their seatbelts during the time of the crash.
