City of Cologne
The Montessori high school in Cologne needs to be renovated. However, the previous promises were rejected and the current plan now wants to build a school – without involving the school community – that provides fewer specialist rooms for more students, no lounges for the upper grades, a smaller cafeteria, hardly any differentiation rooms, etc. Proper teaching that conforms to the curriculum and uses Montessori pedagogy is almost impossible.
Reason
Our children are our future and should have the right not to have to learn in a sardine can.
