The Municipal Health Department (SES) of Sorocaba informs the population about the importance of vaccination against Measles, Mumps and Rubella (MRS). The vaccine is available in all Basic Health Units (UBSs) in the city.
“In view of the imported cases in the state of São Paulo, we advise the intensification of the unvaccinated population as the most effective method of prevention”, highlights the supervisor of the Vaccine Center, Daniela Camargo.
The public, according to the vaccination schedule, is from 12 months of age to 59 years old. People up to 29 years old must receive a two-dose schedule. From the age of 30, the dose is a single dose and healthcare professionals must receive two doses, regardless of age.
For immunization, you must bring your vaccination card and an identification document with a photo.
