FAYETTEVILLE, AR — Mississippi State football ended its 16-game SEC losing streak dramatically.
The Bulldogs (5-4, 1-4 SEC) erased a 14-point deficit in the fourth quarter to beat Arkansas 38-35 at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium on Nov. 1.
Quarterback Blake Shapen, after returning to the game from his injury, thew an 18-yard touchdown to Anthony Evans III with 38 seconds remaining for the win.
It’s also the first SEC win for second-year Mississippi State coach Jeff Lebby.
