Build A Rocket Boy is set to launch *Mindseye* on June 10. This new title from Leslie Benzies, a key figure behind the acclaimed *GTA* 3D games, takes a different approach to game length compared to Rockstar Games’ expansive titles.

Benzies has confirmed that *Mindseye* offers approximately 20 hours of gameplay, with additional content available for those who want more. He describes this as a “continuous content flow.”

The decision to target a 20-hour playtime stems from the belief that video games now compete with various entertainment formats, including series and movies.

“I think you can’t get rubble in games. People want meat and want the potatoes. We try to get as much meat as possible if this makes sense,” Benzies told Gamesindustry.

“I think it’s a good duration for the game.”

Priced at 59 euros, benzies acknowledges that consumers are increasingly mindful of spending, stating that we are at a “funny” point where people care about the price of eggs, so it is notable to value players’ money, especially in a arduous time.”
