Middle East War Risk: Turkey Issues Warning

by Archynetys World Desk

The Gulf states have grown tired of the Iranian attacks.

Now they are giving the ayatollah regime a “last warning” before they begin to take revenge and enter the war.

– They say: The attacks against us are unfair and we need to respond to them, says Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, who singles out Israel as responsible for the situation.

NATO country Turkey has so far stayed out of the US and Israel’s war against Iran, but has now begun to take on a mediating role in an attempt to end the war.

Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan has held talks with Iran, Egypt, the US administration and the EU, a Turkish diplomatic source told the Reuters news agency.

There is no indication that Israel was invited to the talks.

Turkey singles out the country as the root cause of the war and that it will not end.

– The problem is not that there are no plans to end the war. The problem is that Israel does not want peace. We emphasize this reality everywhere, at every opportunity, Hakan Fidan said during a press conference on Saturday, reports Türkiye Today.

Earlier this week, Fidan met with representatives from the Gulf states in the Saudi capital Riyadh, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates.

Turkey: “We have warned about this”

The Gulf leaders’ message to Fidan was that their patience with the Iranian attacks is over and if they continue they will give back to the Ayatollah regime.

– We have warned about this from the beginning. The Gulf states say they will be forced to take countermeasures if the current situation continues. During this meeting, they essentially delivered their last warning regarding this, Fidan said.

– The risk has increased, he stated, referring to the risk of the conflict developing into a major regional war in the Middle East.

Iran has claimed that its attacks on neighboring countries target US interests and military bases – but Gulf states testify that numerous civilian targets have been attacked with robots and drones.

In a statement on Friday, Iran’s new Ayatollah, Mojtaba Khamenei, who has not been seen in public since the war began on February 28, blamed attacks on Turkey and Oman on Israeli false flag operations.

– This is a plot by the Zionist enemy, to use the false flag tactic to sow division between the Islamic Republic and its neighbors, and it can also happen in other countries, the Ayatollah was quoted as saying, reports the Jerusalem Post.
