Miami Open: Sinner Reaches Quarter-Finals – Michaelson Defeated

Miami, ANI. World number two Jannik Sinner made a late comeback in a thrilling match against home player Alex Michelson to reach the quarter-finals of the Miami Open. On Tuesday, Sinner defeated Michaelsen 7-5, 7-6(4) at Hard Rock Stadium. After trailing 2-5 in the second set, he made a strong comeback, took the match to tie-break and won in one hour and 42 minutes.

Along with this, he maintained his excellent rhythm in the ATP Masters 1000 tournament and also increased the record of winning 28 consecutive sets. Sinner won 90 percent of the points on her first serve during the win and will now look to put in a strong performance against 19th seed Frances Tiafoe in the quarterfinals.
