As reported by the National Commission of Physical Culture and Sports (CONADE), the golden medals were obtained by Edna Carrillo In the category of -48 kilograms, after beating the Panamanian Nemesis Candelo, and by Robin jara In the 66 kilograms, who surpassed the Salvadoran Diego Calix in the final.
The silver medals were for Renata ortiz (-57 kilograms) and Sergio del Sol (+100 kilograms), who were close to getting gold in their respective categories.
The medal harvest for the Mexican delegation was completed with four bronzes, obtained by the Olympic Paulina Martínez (-52 kilograms), Ulises Méndez (-73 kilograms), Gilberto Cardoso (-81 kilograms) and Katia Castillo (-70 kilograms).
