There are many excellent reasons to go to the theater this weekend in Mesquer.
First of all, planning your weekend trip to the theater allows you to meet the members of the Comédie Nazairienne, an amateur theater troupe that has existed since 2009. Passionate people, very close friends, long-time friends who choose together the comedies that they play and stage collectively. She is performing for the first time in Mesquer: an event!
Then, when you settle in at ArtyMès, you feel the atmosphere, the audience, in this comfortable performance hall, with perfect acoustics, whose reputation goes beyond the peninsula. Every year, it welcomes local amateur theater troupes as well as professionals in music, theater and humor – Diane Segard, Les Goguettes en trio mais à quatre, Du monde au balcon, La Cie Jacqueline Cambouis.
The theatrical experience will also introduce you to the text and world of a living, recognized and prolific playwright and actor, who hits the mark with each of his plays, Patrick Haudecœur. Mint tea or are you lemon? received the Molière for the comic play in 2011. It’s the story of a troupe of actors: they rehearse a boulevard play but, a few days before the premiere, nothing is ready! A real mise en abyme, metatheater for the seven actors on stage, with the expected gags and misunderstandings
Laugh and make people laugh
The great thing about live performance is that it allows you to have the human, unique and comforting experience of being in communion with other spectators, through laughter, and experiencing the multiple emotions that the play arouses, while feeling the pleasure of the actors. Have fun, escape, laugh: for at least two hours, spectators put aside the agitation, the crises, the uproar and the fury of the world; together, they relax and live in a comedy where laughter triumphs.
Going to the theater this weekend therefore means allowing yourself to become lighter, to have fun, to support live performance and to be generous, by making your contribution to a good cause: the Blouses Roses association, which works in hospitals. As the Nazairian Comedy points out, « laugh and make people laugh, to take care of yourself and others ». What else ?
