Mercedes-Benz has expanded its model range with the new CLA Shooting Brake, which will cost at least 57,096 euros on the German market.
Mercedes already has a sedan of this family in its offer, but now it is joined by the CLA Shooting Brake with the most practical station wagon body. The manufacturer promises a mileage of almost 770 kilometers and super-fast charging, which will be provided by the 800-volt architecture – approximately 315 kilometers in 10 minutes.
In the base version, the CLA 250+ Shooting Brake offers 200 kW (272 hp) of power and 335 Nm of torque, and its price starts from 57,096 euros. The buyer can also choose the most powerful two-motor four-wheel drive CLA 350 4Matic, which provides 260 kW (371 hp) and 515 Nm. The range of this modification will be about 20 km less, but the price will be higher – from 61,653 euros. The first of these modifications reaches 100 km/h in 6.8 seconds, the second – in 5 seconds. The maximum speed of both models is the same – 210 km/h.
The CLA Shooting Brake is equipped with an 85 kWh lithium-ion battery, which ensures substantial autonomy, and also provides a practical luggage capacity: from 405 to 1290 liters in the back, and another 101 liters in the front compartment. The car can tow a trailer weighing up to 1.8 tons. Roof rails are included in the standard equipment, the maximum roof load is 75 kg.
The CLA Shooting Brake also offers a modern, technologically high-quality interior, in which functionality is provided by the MB.OS operating system with a “supercomputer” and cloud connection, MBUX Superscreen with an additional screen for the passenger, a panoramic glass roof that can be switched translucency. We should also mention the 158 illuminated LED “stars” embedded in the roof glass, which synchronize with the interior comfort lighting, creating a resemblance to the starry sky.
It is reported that the Mercedes CLA Shooting Brake will be available to order at the end of the year, and deliveries to customers will begin in 2026.
