“Staying with the attacked Ukraine means choosing Europe without compromises, there is no alternative but to completely renounce our sovereignty. This is even more true today, with Trump’s brutal tones which seem to hide the difficulty of a leadership which had promised peace in a few days and which has been subjected to Putin’s initiative for months. Unfortunately, insulting Europe or bullying Zelensky is not enough to end the war”. This was stated by the secretary of the EU Policies Commission of the Senate Tatjana Rojc, on the occasion of the visit of the Ukrainian president, Volodymyr Zelensky, to the Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, today at Palazzo Chigi.
