The pulse of the city beats in harmony with the Pokémon and people who live there, and it’s time we get to know the residents who await you in the expansion. Today we announce the debut of Mega Zygarde as a Pokémon-ex, while Rosy and Serpiroyal make a splash as two unique cards with compelling synergy. There are also a few other cards that can certainly be convincing in combat.
Shinji Kanda impresses us again with a beautiful version of Fiaro, who, surrounded by flora and flame, seems only too ready to defend himself. His Aerial Hunter ability also shows his hot temper and can burn a card in your opponent’s hand if you’re lucky on the coin toss.
Mega Zygarde, recently discovered in Pokemon-Legenden: ZAmakes a splash for the first time in the Pokémon Trading Card Game as a Mega Evolution Pokémon-ex. This ultra-rare Mega Zygarde-ex is not only visually impressive, like Mega Zygarde flanked by Zygarde, but it is also capable of dealing massive damage with Gaia’s Wave and Obliterating Void. If you have more Prize cards remaining than your opponent, you can play Rosy’s Encouragement to attach up to two Energy cards from your discard pile to one of your Phase 2 Pokémon. When this card is in the discard pile, it not only offers a damage bonus, but also ensures that the Phase 2 Pokémon can attack at all – that’s a winning combination.
