Within the framework of the health policies promoted by Governor Osvaldo Jaldo and with the support of the Minister of Public Health, Luis Medina Ruiz, a new air health operation was carried out from Tucumán to the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires.
In the afternoon of this Sunday, a MEDEVAC was performed to transfer a 32-year-old patient, referred by the Zenón Santillán Health Center hospital, to the Argerich Hospital in Buenos Aires.
She had a diagnosis of severe acute liver failure and was transferred to continue with complementary studies and begin treatment for a probable liver transplant.
The province’s air evacuator doctor, Dr. Patricia Villagra, reported that the air evacuator team on duty was made up of the air evacuator doctor, Dr. Santiago Durando, and the nursing graduate, Melisa Madrid.
The aforementioned medical professional stated that at the time of transfer the patient was hemodynamically stable, lucid, alert, oriented in time and space, as well as stable during the course of the flight.
The head of the Siprosa Social Service Division, Gladys Martínez, explained that the patient traveled accompanied by her sister, who received advice and support during the management process.
Likewise, they also worked with Lourdes Veliz Madrid, from the Social Service of the Casa de Tucumán, to monitor the case and provide guidance to the family member while they remain in CABA.
