Napoli win the match against Juventus in extension Serie A. Napoli coach Antonio Conte proud of his team which remained solid even though it was hit by a storm of injuries.
From Napoli vs Juventus held at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium, Monday (8/12/2025) early morning WIB. The hosts won 2-1 thanks to two goals from Rasmus Hojlund.
Napoli lost a number of its pillar players due to injury. Names such as Romelu Lukaku, Kevin De Bruyne, Billy Gilmour, Alex Meret, Stanislas Lobotka, and Frank Anguissa had to be sidelined in the treatment room.

“The players deserve praise, we just thank them because considering that it was a very difficult moment and there were not many players left, we did an extraordinary thing,” Conte told DAZN Italia.
“Everyone who played performed with extraordinary character and a sense of responsibility. These boys have improved a lot in that regard, and that makes me proud, because they felt what we were doing, understood the difficult situation and responded extraordinary.”
This victory brought Napoli back to the top Italian League standings with 31 points from 14 matches. The Partenopei have so far won a number of matches against fellow top teams such as AS Roma and Juventus.
“We have faced Atalanta, Roma and Juventus, all very strong, in emergency situations and won them all. I am still amazed by the enthusiasm and energy they put into the match,” said Conte.
“Now we have to rest because we have two days and then we go to Portugal to play Benfica in the Champions League,” he said.
