The Edmonton Oilers are not up to par at the start of the season, which is causing tension within the group.
During training, we saw captain Connor McDavid starting to lose patience in images relayed on X by journalist Ryan Rishaug.
McDavid appears to express his dissatisfaction with veterans Evan Bouchard and Mattias Ekholm.
“Everyone can do more and that also applies to training,” McDavid said, as mentioned by Rishaug. Occasionally this season, we lacked synchronism and we were disjointed.
“The only solution is to communicate. You’re going to see exchanges of this nature.”
The Oilers suffered three losses in a row, losing to the St. Louis Blues, the Dallas Stars and the Colorado Avalanche.
