ABSENCE DECLARATION PROCEDURE
Article 127 of the Civil Code
Having regard to the judgment rendered on November 20, 2013 by the judicial court of SENS (Yonne), noting the presumption of absence of Mr Maurice MALRAUXborn December 6, 1939 in MIGENNES (Yonne),
The judicial court of SENS (Yonne), by judgment of November 3, 2025, declared Mr. Maurice MALRAUX absent, having not returned to his home or given any sign of life since the end of the 1990s;
Said judgment will be transcribed at the request of the Public Prosecutor’s Office on the death registers of the municipality of LA THEIL SUR VANNE (Yonne), town hall of the place of the last known residence of the person concerned, as well as in the margin of his birth certificate;
The judgment of declaration of absence carries, after publication and transcription, all the effects of a death.
