Maryland Parks: 25 in 2025 Challenge | MD State Parks

by Archynetys News Desk

The Maryland Park Service has introduced a new initiative for outdoor enthusiasts and families alike with the 25 in 2025 Adventure Challenge. Participants are invited to visit Maryland State Parks and complete at least 25 themed challenges before November 15, 2025. The program is designed to promote exploration of the state’s natural beauty and historic landmarks.

“Grab some friends, bring your whole family, or complete it solo—everyone is welcome (and encouraged) to participate!” according to the Maryland Park Service.

How the Program Works

All information for the challenge is available online. Registration is not required to participate, but those looking to enter the prize drawing must register and make a $25 donation to the Maryland Park Service. Park entrance fees still apply.

Registered participants will receive a six-digit code to track their progress. A camera is essential, as photos are required to verify the completion of each challenge. Challenges can be completed at any combination of parks and do not necessarily require visiting 25 different locations.
