A new earthquake was recorded this Sunday, September 14, 2025, in the Caribbean Sea. According to the first information communicated by seismological networks, the earthquake occurred at 7:49 am in local time (11:49 am UTC), with a magnitude of 4.1 on the Richter scale.

The epicenter was located at sea, at the coordinates 15.30 ° N and 60.72 ° W, about 60 kilometers deep. The shock took place 74 kilometers east of Roseau in Dominique, 87 kilometers northeast of Fort-de-France in Martinique and 139 kilometers south-east of Pointe-à-Pitre in Guadeloupe.
