They formed one of the star couples of French reality TV. Thibault Garcia and Jessica Thivenin, two emblematic ex-candidates of the reality TV show “Les Marseillais”, announced this Thursday their separation after eight years of relationship.
“Some may have noticed… A few days ago, Thibault made the decision to divorce. I have no choice but to accept this reality, to accept that he no longer loves me. My world, my life, my dreams have just collapsed,” wrote Jessica Thivenin in a post on Instagram.
In her press release, the 35-year-old influencer spoke deeply about the “very complicated period” she is going through: “It’s a huge disappointment because I always believed that when you get with someone, you overcome the challenges, even in the most difficult moments,” she assures, recognizing that “love has crumbled.”

“To find myself today in a situation that I cannot control is the hardest thing. I really feel like I have missed my family, missed this family life that I had dreamed of… And it breaks me a little more every day,” Jessica Thivenin poured out again.

Thibault Garcia also explained himself in a press release. “For several years, happiness has gradually crumbled, and so has love, through no one’s fault. Sometimes life simply pushes us away, despite efforts and intentions,” he says on Instagram, wishing Jessica “all the happiness in the world for the future.”
“Our absolute priority remains the happiness of our children, and we will do everything to ensure that they grow up in peace, surrounded by love and kindness,” Thibault Garcia further specifies.
Jessica Thivenin and Thibault Garcia met in 2017 on the set of a season of “Marseillais”. The following year, they married in Dubai. In 2019, they became parents for the first time, of a little boy named Maylone. Then, in 2021, a second child, Leewane, was born from their union.
