Gresini Ducati” rider Marquez started from the third place, but together with Acosta and Marko Bedzek, he had an intense fight for the victory until the last lap. Bedzeki, who started the fight from pole position, kept the lead in the first corner, but from the beginning he was closely followed by “KTM” rider Acosta and Marquez.

The trio pulled away from the others in the first laps, but Acosta was able to overtake Bedzek on the third lap and take the lead. This opened up an opportunity for Marquez to close in and on the fourth lap he made a convincing overtake to take over second place.
