“Gresini Ducati” rider Marquez started from the third place, but together with Acosta and Marko Bedzek, he had an intense fight for the victory until the last lap. Bedzeki, who started the fight from pole position, kept the lead in the first corner, but from the beginning he was closely followed by “KTM” rider Acosta and Marquez.

The trio pulled away from the others in the first laps, but Acosta was able to overtake Bedzek on the third lap and take the lead. This opened up an opportunity for Marquez to close in and on the fourth lap he made a convincing overtake to take over second place.

Midway through the race, Marquez used the Ducati’s speed advantage on the start-finish straight to overtake Acosta and take the lead. The fight between the two Spaniards continued for several laps, changing positions several times. The KTM bike lost pace in the final sector, and it was there that Marquez regained the lead on the ninth lap. Acosta tried to respond, but his rival held on and finished first by a mere 0.1 seconds.
