The presentation of the Dragon Award took place on Saturday, the penultimate day of the festival.

The award for best Nordic film went to “Paradis”. It is 400,000 Swedish kroner.

– With completely accurate acting performances, a razor-sharp but nuanced script and without the slightest trace of sentimentality, the film becomes a mirror in which we see ourselves with devastating clarity, writes the jury in its justification.

Sødahl is also responsible for the script, together with Eske Troelstrup and Therese Hasman. Danica Curcic and Esben Smed play the main roles.

Renate Reinsve and Helene Bjørneby were both nominated for the gender-neutral award for best actor for their work in “Butterfly”, directed by Itonje Søimer Guttormsen.

However, Adam Lundgren won there for his role in the Swedish film “Biodlaren”, which has received the title “The Quiet Beekeeper” internationally.
