It is at a place called La Noë Charbonnière, at Saffré (Loire-Atlantique), that a bus accident occurred on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, shortly before 6 p.m.
Bus accident in Loire-Atlantique: a man was trapped inside
The bus was then traveling without travelers. 17 firefighters intervened after the accident, to carry relief to the driver, the latter having found himself “trapped” inside the bus.
Firefighters responded to the scene using nine engines.
The firefighters finally managed to extract the driver of his bus. He was then medically transportedby the Smur (Mobile emergency and resuscitation structure), towards the CHU (University hospital center) of Nantes.
