Man takes over 60 kilos – with this routine

Ken Jones lost over 60 kilograms. The Briton Simon Whitttington also followed a similar routine (in the video). You can read here with which routine this is possible.

Ken Jones was sporty in his youth, but years of shift work in a chemical plant, stress and a full schedule demanded their toll.
Over time, he increased steadily and lost his fitness. Shortly before retirement, he realized that it was time for a fundamental change.

So Jones decreased sustainably

When Jones retired in 2015, he did not feel fit enough for a gym and instead started regular walks.
These apparently small changes had a great impact: within a year and a half it lost around 36 kilograms, reports Business Insider. His success proves that moderate movement in combination with a conscious diet can achieve significant results.

In addition, Jones dealt with his diet more intensively. With the support of a personal trainer and the “Myfitnespal” app, he began to track his macronutrients – carbohydrates, fats and proteins.
This method helped him achieve his daily goals without being dependent on a strict diet.

New routine helped Jones to be successful

Due to the tracking of his macronutrients, Jones was not only able to enjoy a larger food selection, but also follow its progress.

His daily routine includes the morning weighing, logging of his weight and planning his meals in an app – a structured approach to a conscious diet.

Jones’ daily diet includes around 2100 calories consisting of 215 grams of protein, 165 grams of carbohydrates and 52 grams of fat.

Typical foods were oatmeal, lean turkey, tilapia, rice, yogurt and peanut butter. He increases his carbohydrate intake two days a week.

In addition to the adapted diet, Jones relies on a consistent fitness program. He trains six days a week for 60 to 90 minutes, including 20 minutes endurance training on the Stair Master (staircase device). However, he emphasizes that the key to success is not only in training – what happens outside the gym is particularly important.

An inspiring success story

Ken Jones’ impressive transformation shows that sustainable weight loss is possible with simple but consistent measures. With daily walks and conscious nutritional tracking, he not only achieved significant weight reduction, but also a significantly better fitness.

Its history proves: Small changes in everyday life can bring great results – regardless of age.

If you want to start your fitness trip, remember: every step counts and a conscious diet is the key to success.
