by Archynetys Entertainment Desk

Super finale for Such and Quali Show, the program hosted by Nicola Savino and spin offs of Such and Such Show led by Carlo Conti. The show came to an end on January 30th with a thrilling finale full of twists and turns. At the judges’ stand Alessia Marcuzzi, Cristiano Malgioglio and Massimo Lopez. Special guests Nino Frassica and Alessandro Siani. Let’s find out the report cards and the winner of this edition.

Nicola Savino is the perfect conductor. Rating: 8

Nicola Savino also confirms himself in the final of Tali e Quali Show like one central and fundamental presence. The host knew how to make the show his own, making it just the right amount of sparkling. His conducting is balanced, fluid, never over the top. Savino enters and exits the scene naturally, as if the stage were his home, without ever imposing his presence. He is a conductor who doesn’t need to overdo it to get noticed, because his style is recognizable precisely in his measure.

His strength lies in his ability to accompany: he accompanies the competitors before and after the performance, accompanies the judges in their comments, accompanies the audience in the rhythm of the evening. Each intervention is designed to enhance the show, not to overwhelm it. And in a program based on imitation, where the risk of slipping into caricature is always around the corner, Savino is a reassuring presence who keeps everything in balance.

Having reached the final with excellent ratings, Nicola Savino managed to make the format unique thanks to an irony that is never aggressive and in an always respectful tone. His jokes are punctual, often under his breath, but always effective. He doesn’t look for easy applause, he doesn’t force the comic moment, he lets the performances do the talking, intervening only when needed to give rhythm or release tension.

Another key element is the emotional connection it manages to create. Savino shows sincere attention towards the competitors and listens to them, putting them at ease. The public perceives this, and responds with confidence. The evening of January 30th was also particularly flowing, light and engaging, without ever losing elegance.

Cristiano Malgioglio ruthless. Rating: 6

In the January 30th episode of Tali e Quali ShowCristiano Malgioglio returns to take on the role of the most ruthless judge of the evening and does so without mincing words. He comments and criticizes everyone, but above all he doesn’t save anyone. Every performance becomes an excuse to highlight defects, forced vocals, vocal discordances or lack of similarity. His judgment is clear, sometimes even destabilizing for the competitors.

The problem is that this ruthlessness, although part of the character, does not always hit the mark. Malgioglio seems more focused on the effect of the joke than on the analysis of the imitation and in some moments the criticism appears repetitive, almost automatic. The risk is to flatten very different performances under the same label of “we are not there”, without really distinguishing between those who make mistakes and those who dare.

Prima stronca Raffaele De Benedictis in the role of Ligabue: “I liked you last week, but today you messed up the character”, he says, triggering boos from the audience and replying: “Just boo, the more you do it the more excited I get”. Then he crushes Clelia Cicero’s Edith Piaf. “I saw drama, but there was nothing in the voice, nothing,” he cuts short and this time too the public doesn’t think the same way.

Despite this, it must be recognized that his presence ignites the jury in an incredible way. He is the one who creates friction, who breaks excessive benevolence, who brings the show back to less accommodating tracks. When the criticism is on target, and it happens more than once, Malgioglio manages to be very lucid, capturing vocal or interpretative details that escape the others.

However, a feeling of hardness as an end in itself remains. Less sarcasm and more construction would make his interventions more incisive and less punitive. The truth is that Malgioglio works precisely because it divides, but in this episode the blade cuts deeply, perhaps too deeply.

Alessandro Siano excites and makes you laugh. Rating: 9

Alessandro Siani and Nino Frassica are the special guests of the last episode of Tali e Quali Show and it is the Neapolitan comedian who conquers the scene, thanks above all to one unprecedented complicity with Cristiano Malgioglio. Upon his arrival the exchange of jokes is hilarious.

“You are a star,” Malgioglio tells him and Siani replies: “You are a Christmas star,” referring to the lyricist’s red dress. The judge of the show never misses an opportunity to reveal some anecdotes from the past, explaining that he met Alessandro Siani at the beginning of his career and claiming that he brought him luck.

“Do you remember when we met and I told you how good a comedian you were, I was absolutely right”, he explains, then going on to compliment the comedian: “I must say that you are really good, as well as good”, he exclaims, sparking applause from the audience.

But Alessandro Siani enlivened the evening Tali e Quali Show not just with his jokes. In the role of judge, the comedian was able to provide great emotions and intelligent comments. Since his first performances, Siani has shown that he has fully immersed himself in his role, becoming excited by the performances.

The most engaging? That of Antonio Caridei in the role of Gigi D’Alessio. “It’s truly a marvel, an incredible resemblance – he says emotionally -. I would like to call Gigi D’Alessio and tell him that you are there, that you can help him in the concerts he does, you can be very useful to him.” Then the joke that couldn’t be missed: “To be the same as Gigi, you have to have six children though”, he ends, referring to the numerous children of the Neapolitan artist.

Daniele Quartapelle, when talent makes the difference. Rating 9

To triumph in this edition of Tali e Quali Show it was Daniele Quartapelle, protagonist with his extraordinary Renato Zero. His performances, his extraordinary stage presence and his voice, won over both the audience and the judges. An undeniable talent that emerged, once again, every time he entered the scene, thanks to an ability that goes beyond simple imitation and songs that touched everyone deeply.

His victory, which came for the second time after his triumph in 2022, was in some ways a given. It’s impossible not to be carried away by his skill, but above all by his ability to experience the character of Renato Zero in an all-encompassing way.
