Rose Bowl, Playoffs & Grilled Cheese on New Year’s Day

While the Wisconsin Badgers won’t be playing, Bierock will be showing the Rose Bowl game (and other college football playoff games, including The Sugar Bowl) starting at 3 p.m. Jan. 1, 3 p.m.-midnight, 2911 N. Sherman Ave.

“Pulling Together: Work From Madison’s Roundhouse Studios

Roundhouse Studios opened in January 2025. The renovated railway building on Madison’s north side hosts more than 40 local artists, 27 of which will showcase their work at Arts + Literature Laboratory this month. Exhibit on view from Jan. 2-Feb. 21, 111 S. Livingston St.

Winter Farmers’ Market

Over 50 Dane Country Farmers’ Market members will gather at Garver Feed Mill for a weekly winter market offering seasonal Wisconsin vegetables, cheeses, honey and maple syrups, local meats, baked goods, and many other local specialty items. Green Box Compost will offer free food scraps compost drop-off (limited to 1 gallon each week per household) at every Winter Farmers’ Market. “Imagining our Wildest Dreams: Schools, Selves, Worlds, and Possibilities”
